Doors open for nurses equipped with a BSN degree. A bachelor’s degree in Nursing allows Registered Nurses (RNs) to advance their careers in a variety of healthcare settings. Eagle Gate College offers a hybrid online BSN program that will prepare students for the NCLEX-RN licensure examination. Nurses with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree typically receive higher salaries, coveted leadership roles, and a wider variety of jobs. A 2016 study from Nurse Journal found that, of 187,000 nursing jobs posted over a 90-day period, BSN holders were eligible for 88% of those jobs, while RNs with associate’s degrees were only eligible for 51% of them.
Can I Earn My BSN Online?

Our goal is to help you begin your LPN career with confidence. As a Practical Nursing student, you will benefit from over 900 hours of combined hands-on training through our labs and real-world simulations. You will also gain valuable field experience at one of our nearby healthcare facilities. Finally, we will support you on your path to passing the National Council Licensure Examination-Practical Nurse (NCLEX-PN), so you can become a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Option 1) Comprehensive Practical Nursing Program: This program provides a holistic PN curriculum geared towards preparing graduates for the National Council Licensure Examination-Practical Nurse (NCLEX-PN). Throughout this program, students will accumulate over 900 hours of combined training in areas such as nursing fundamentals, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics, maternal and newborn care, and professional development.
Option 2) Accelerated VN-to-Associate Degree: For those already holding a Practical Nursing diploma (Also known as Vocational Nursing), leverage your prior experience and pursue an online Associate Degree in Vocational Nursing (ASVN) in as few as 12 months. This recognizes your previous learning, allowing you to progress faster towards further career enhancement.

Unitek College is institutionally accredited by the ACCSC, and our Practical Nursing program is approved by the Nevada Board of Nursing.
